President

VERY IMPORTANT!!

We have a very special guest coming to GM on Monday (week 8).

Jenny Raffield, a “Healing Arts Practitioner”, is coming all the way from the Bay Area to give us a PRIVATE SOUND BATH in the conference room.

My mom attended one of her sound baths in the Bay Area recently and loved it! Afterwards, my mom told her about Bruin Belles and explained that it has been a challenging couple of years for many of our members and we are still serving the community despite everything. My mom asked if Jenny would be willing to do a Zoom session with us talking about wellness, but Jenny SO GENEROUSLY offered to come all the way down to LA to perform a live sound bath just for us!!!

We are sooooooo lucky to have this opportunity. It is very important to me that as many Belles as possible attended GM on Monday. Please do your best to be on time! Dress comfortably and bring a towel/blanket if you want, and a pillow if you want. Whatever you need to feel comfortable lying on the ground.

I am SOOOOO EXCITED!!

Letter Writing Campaign - Wildfire Relief

Ongoing

Number of Belles:Unlimited

Mail or visit in person Monday-Friday 9-5 pm PST

417 Charles E. Young Drive West, Los Angeles, CA 90024, Room 315

The primary goal of this letter writing campaign is to provide support and encouragement for those affected and for the brave first responders who are working tirelessly to keep our communities safe. This campaign has dual objectives.

First, to support those affected by the fires: provide comfort, encouragement, and resources to individuals and families impacted by recent fires. By sending letters of gratitude and encouragement, our hope is to mitigate some of the emotional strain and show that the community stands together during times of hardship. Second, to express gratitude to essential workers: express heartfelt thanks and appreciation to firefighters, medical personnel, and other essential workers who have worked during this crisis.

There are multiple ways to support this effort:

1. Mail a physical letter/card to the Volunteer Center at 417 Charles E. Young Drive West, Los Angeles, CA 90024, Room 315.
2. Scan and email your letter/card to us at volunteer@saonet.ucla.edu
3. Drop off your letter to us at Bradley International Hall, Room 315.
