Hello beautiful Belles!! Happy Week 3! I actually cannot grasp the fact that it is week 3, I feel like we literally just started, but I also feel like we are in the trenches of finals week. Which is like??? Crazy. Anyways, Board and DB photos came back and they are STUNNING. Can I just say how much of a gorgeous Board and DBs we have? Absolutely beautiful. I also saw the cutest, fluffiest squirrel on campus the other day. I LOVE squirrels, so that was fun 🤭 My roommates also put our charm bracelets together than we bought in New York and went to Olive Garden and got the unlimited pasta. I only got through two small bowls so 😵💫 but definitely worth the experience! Just a reminder! If you ever need anything, we are here for you!! Just reach out! Belle love always!! 🤍

10/14 & 10/17 Cold Water Betty Creek Restoration 7:15 - 10:15
Description: Come help us restore the Betty Dearing trail at our very own park in Coldwater Canyon! Our beautiful 45-acre headquarters serves as a critical community space for hikers, bikers, students, and wildlife. Help us contribute to the biodiversity, climate resilience, and natural beauty of our park by removing invasive species, installing native plants and maintaining the trail to prevent erosion and wildfires.

10/18 Fowler Textile Council Sale 10am-1pm and 1–4pm
Description: This annual fundraiser offers a curated selection of textiles, jewelry, baskets, clothing, home décor, and more from around the world. Proceeds from the sale support the Fowler’s textile acquisitions, exhibitions, and publications. Volunteers will help packing up orders and keeping the hold section organized.

10/18 SPRUCE IT UP: Revitalize TreePeople Park
Description: Volunteers come out to help maintain TreePeople Park, a 45-acre area that thousands of Los Angeles-area students visit every year to take part in environmental educational programs. Volunteers help maintain trails, remove invasive plants, re-grade slopes, and tend the park grounds.

Week 3 woo! Hope everyone’s quarter is going well so far. I am currently camping which is nice to get away from the city. I watched Twilight this week with the Bruin Film Society and it was so fun to watch it with a crowd. & for those keeping up with dwts, who do we think is going home this week??? might be time for andy to go I fear. ALSO the application window has officially closed WOW one step closer to getting our Baby Belles!

Hello lovelies!
This week has been really nice and I had lots of lovely dinners with friends. ALSO I GOT MOUNT VESUIVUS, my tastebuds were erupting with flavor and also there was a Belles flyer at Cafe 1919 so they’re routing for us. I am sooo excited for the movie night this Tuesday (thank youuuu Alex and Téa). And Natalie and I are hosting a Belle’s Blog social this Thursday, so check it out and come hang!

I hope you all had an amazing first week back! I am beyond excited that rush is officially over and have spent the past week trying to catch my breath, So many of my friends celebrated their birthday this past week so I was booked and busy with that, I watched DWTS with Natalia and Natalie, and I attended the football game (though it was impossible to stay past half time…)

Payments can be made through Venmo @BruinBellesServiceAssociation or another form of payment. Please pay your dues by the end of the quarter. Failure to pay dues without reason will result in termination of membership.

Reimbursements
Please contact the Fundraising Office via email if you make any PRE-APPROVED purchases for BBSA events. Purchases include transportation costs to attend events. Afterward, request the amount that should be reimbursed. If you do not get your purchase pre-approved by Natalia, there is no guarantee that you will receive a reimbursement.

Hello hello lovely belles! This week has been chaotic but sooo incredibly rewarding and fun! Totally forgot classes were a thing (oopsie) and now it’s time to lock in because wdym it’s week threeee. My coworkers are slowly corrupting me to be a morning person and I woke up at six the other day to get Layla’s bagels. Also, I got to take a picture with Joe Bruin on Bruinwalk which is on my senior bucket list so yay! Anaïs also had a fire week and went to erewhonnnnn. Anywhoozles, Belle love always <3333

Hi my gorgeous gorgeous ladies. Our next workshop will be with your fabulous Women’s Leadership Director (me) Thursday the 16th from 6-7 in De Neve Jacaranda Room (10 belles max) Remember to sign up for your workshop sooner rather than later. hello hello! I fear I signed up for too much because tell me why I am booked from 8am-9pm every day other than Thursday and Friday next week. I was so happy to meet so many amazetastical potential baby belles at open house and can’t wait for interviews. WORKSHOPS!!!
This week my lovely DB Aanya will be hosting a workshop on Thursday, October 16th, at 4 pm. The workshop will be hosted in a study room at YRL - exact room info to come later. It will be an awesome workshop and try to get the credit done before the baby belles arrive!
Hi belles! I hope you all had an amazing week 2. I feel like this quarter is flying by already. This week I had my first shift at work and it was so awesome everyone was so nice. Also I get to wear a t-shirt and sweatpants to work like hello. This weekend I went to horror nights at universal and then I went to Chappell Roan on Saturday. Best concert ever. We got hot dogs after and my life is complete. I love having fun and pretending school isn’t real. Anyways I need to get back to reality because I have a 7c midterm in my future. Happy week 3!
