Hello my beautiful Belles!! Happy Week Four!! Spring Quarter is genuinely flying by a little too quickly. Like, slow down.😭 I am excited, though, for all the fun things this quarter and all the senior spotlights!! Truly, it is one of my favorite times in Belles to get to see all the seniors present!

I saw quite a few Belles on campus this past week, which is always a lovely surprise to see Belles in the wild.  I also had a blast on Saturday at the UCLA Prytanean Centennial Celebration! We learned a lot about the history of the Wrigley Mansion and the Rose Bowl Parade, which was very cool. We also got to meet Ruthie (class of ‘89) and her sister Nancy (class of ‘91), along with two other Belle alums from the classes of ‘92 and ‘95. It was truly so lovely to meet some Belle Alumni and get to chat with them about their time in Belles and hear how many things have changed and/or stayed the same. We also taught them our Belle hand sign, which was such a sweet bonding moment, as they did not have that when they were in Belles.

Anywho, please read my agenda in its entirety and pay attention to the deadlines and dates as they are super important!!

If you ever need anything, we are here for you!! Just reach out! Belle love always!! 🤍

Interested in running for Executive Board for the 2026-2027 academic year?

As a reminder, here are the positions open for election:

  • President (must have already served a full year on board)

  • Secretary

  • Community Outreach Directors (x2)

  • Public Relations Director

  • Fundraising Directors (x2)

  • Social Directors (x2)

  • Women’s Leadership Director

  • Campus Culture Director

  • DEI Director

*Please note: a member can only run for one position. If you are not elected to executive board, you are still eligible to apply to be a Distinguished Belle.

**Please also note: for offices with two members, each candidate must run and be elected independently. Co-directors are not elected as a pair.

Being on Executive Board is a year-long commitment. If you are planning to study abroad for fall, winter, or spring quarter, you will not be able to be a board member. Please consider your other commitments and responsibilities before running for board.

If you are interested in being a Distinguished Belle, applications are distributed and reviewed during the summer 2026 by the new Executive Board. Distinguished Belles are appointed by the Executive Board through application review rather than election.

Elections will be held on Monday, May 18th (Week 8). In order to vote, you must be either physically present OR present on the zoom link.

How in the world is it week 4?!?! This quarter is moving so fast and i’ve had so many fun things to look forward to but omg I feel like I’m going to blink and it’ll be over. In other news, I am now an AMC A lister so if anyone wants to watch a movie let me know!!! I also got to meet a lot of Belles alum at the UCLA Prytanean Centennial Celebration this weekend which was so beautiful. Hearing what they used to do in the club and sharing our work was so amazing. The whole event was great and heartwarming to be around fellow Bruins who have walked our same steps. With that, I will leave you with something that the wonderful guest speaker said and it was something to the effect of:

I’m not sure what the future holds, but I recommend looking forward to it.

Hello my dear, darling lovelies!

For those asking, here is me at fire camp… 😭😭 →

This weekend, I went to the Belles alumni event, and the historic house was GORGEOUS. I was such a fan. I also helped set up the 5k event on campus, and it was great. My midterms start with physics this week, and then I only have one week free until like week 9 🥲 but it’s been a superb quarter so far, and I think it’s just gonna keep getting better! 😊

ALSO my fav movie ever (The Sound of Music) is playing Wednesday night, and they’re having free food trucks, and you really should come and join me!!!

GOOD LUCK with midterms! You’ve got this! Reach out anytime for anything, Belles related or not!

Belle love,

Natalia 🩷

Hi my gorgeous Belles!

I’m lowkey in the midterm trenches rn. Like who thinks its a good idea to have ochem and physics midterms on the same day?! So my birthday has been postponed to to next weekend so I can actually celebrate it.

I also realized this week that I have free will and don’t need to be buying frozen Trader Joes meals for dinner every single night. So if you know of any good food spots/want to try something new, please hit me up!! I would love to explore the LA food scene more with my fellow Belles.

Belle love always,

Alex

Week four already is crazy. Week three was funnn I wasn’t as dead as I was week two for some reason. I tried to go surfing on Sunday but there were sooo many people and all the waves were crashing on this tiny spot and I decided I was not good enough to try and break through all these surfers to catch a wave so instead my friends just hung out. Saw dolphins and seals! ALSO I won the career center MCAT book raffle YAY

Hi Belles! Happy week 4 (scary). I hope you are all doing well. This week I have an ochem midterm on Wednesday that I am wildly unprepared for so suddenly nothing is funny. It is honestly my fault though because I prioritized fun this weekend instead of studying. I went out with my roommates one night and I also went to a party with my coworkers (shoutout john wooden center). I also ran the Bruin Run/Walk 5k with my friend and ran into my queens Katie, Natalia, and Elle. I also had the most scrumptious burger of my life shoutout Spread Please (funny name for a restaurant right). Anyways I need to lock in please text me if you are in 14d and wanna study together <3

Keep signing up for workshops! Everything up until week 7 is on the signup genius. Yay!
