Hello my Beautiful Belle family!
My name is Natalie and I am the Bruin Belle’s President! I am beyond excited for this year with you all and for all of the wonderful memories we are bound to make.
This week was CRAY CRAY! Midterms eek, busy schedule, but mixed in was so many fun events. I volunteered at Youth Champions and was a tour guide for the day (might even possibly be in a documentary what). Below are some flowers my mom sent me a photo of from back home that she thought looked like Belle’s, so cute omg. Then Belle’s Beginnings! We took such cute photos, (don’t worry I will try to have them up on the Google Photos soon), and here are a few of my fav!
I am here for you all, always! So never hesitate to reach out to me. Think of me as your Belle’s older sider.
Belle Love Always,
Nat xoxo

hello my sweeties :) and a very big warm welcome to all our new babies :) we are so excited for you to join us and i hope you love what the CO office has put together for you. updates from the magdalena frontier – trying to spend more time on myself but also more time on my classes….? square that circle i suppose.
last week i got froyo with danielle, plus my favorite green juice (suja mighty dozen, it is so good i promise) was on sale at whole foods, plus i had an amazing time at nourishLA with sarah/julianna/jayleen/steph. i had a nice ballet class on tuesday too, i got asked to demo which is always a good ego boost and generally felt strong and stretchy. at time of writing i haven’t realized my breadhead or ggiata or belles beginnings plans yet but i trust all three will be fab by virtue of the company. i should really be studying for my midterms instead of gallivanting around but i think that’s a problem for later….
song of the week is “the only living boy in new york” by simon and garfunkel – link to song here . they’re one of my favorite bands ever, i still think it’s so sad they ended up hating each other lol
xoxo magdalena
Hello my lovelies :) Happy Week 5! After 4 midterms and 7 assignments I can announce that I am officially… done with all of that! So I will be rotting to the MAX this week don’t even worry. My department is hosting orientation part II so I am super excited to work that and get to work with more of the UCLA community. But of course, this week was truly such a fun and rewarding experience.
First off, deliberations were SO fun.I got to break out the Snug-ee and courtesy of Natalie (+Duffl ofc) had my favorite drink in the whole wide world if you have not had the Watermelon Arizona you need to have it asap.
Calling all our Baby Belles was truly one of my favorite parts of the week. Seeing you all at Belles Beginnings really put everything in perspective. You guys are the absolute sweetest, and I can not wait to watch you all flourish in this organization. But I have to say that putting the Belles on. your doors was. genuinely the best adventure. I am sure I looked like a stalker, but we’ve all been there I guess.
And on a continuing high, Belles Beginnings was lit, and Natalia, the baking QUEEN knocked it out of the park, yet again. I’m excited for such a great first week for you all and for HALLOWEEN (I finally decided what I’m doing, trust). And I’m looking forward to my roommates continuing chart of Heart Sparkles, Twinkles, and Crinkles (please reference the photo lmao I swear I’m not that crazy). Anyway, have a great week, yall got this. If you need anything ever, don’t hesitate to send me a text or call.
Much Love,
Lexie

HELLO BELLES and WELCOME BABY BELLES!
i’m so excited you’re here and can’t wait for this year with you guys!!
As of Monday I had two midterms within 3 hours of each other and I’ve consumed so much caffeine in VARIOUS forms, so if you see me shaking, just look the other way pls! Most of this week I was studying away, but I managed to find some joy in the process. First Special Olympics practice with the new members was awesomesauce. I also discovered the gorgalicious combination of broccoli and cheddar soup with shell Goodles which has been my struggle meal this midterm season. I’m also planning a Halloween party with my best friend in Irvine, so I’m in full on pinterest decor mode (@lizzyaure F4FFFF).
Now that my midterms are over, I will be treating myself with a free week at core power, halloweekend, and a shopping spree.
Belle Luvvv,
Lizzy
DUES:
$120 for full-year payment, $40 per quarter for quarterly payments
Please Venmo @BruinBellesServiceAssociation either the full-year or Fall Quarter payment by Monday, November 9, 2026 (Week 7 GM) for returning members.
If you would like to request an Alumni Scholarship to help cover your dues, please fill out the following form: https://forms.gle/tW64hLRRW2qHrbku5. Look out for an email from me with the form linked as well!
FAQ:
Where do I send my dues? -- @BruinBellesServiceAssociation on Venmo. Reminders are in the Agendas every week!
I only have Zelle -- Absolutely no worries, the beautiful Lexie has helped us solve this issue! Please Zelle (424)393-8818 your dues ONLY if you do not have Venmo. This is Lexie’s Zelle, but it will be registered under Alexandra Spencer. If you will be sending your dues to Lexie via Zelle, please leave a note that it is for BBSA and what event it’ll be for (aka “BBSA Dues - [YOUR NAME]”). --> This also applies to using Zelle for fundraising events this year.
I don't have Venmo or Zelle -- That is okay! We can also accept payments in cash or check. Please text or email me (contact info in my signature below) if this is you, and I'm happy to arrange something.
I have extenuating circumstances and/or demonstrated need to help cover my dues. -- The Fundraising Office believes that any Belle should be able to participate in the year regardless of extenuating circumstances, so if this is you, PLEASE fill out the Alumni Scholarship Form, or privately message me, or, if you feel more comfortable, Lizzy, with your situation, and I guarantee we will work something out.

BBSA BLOOD DRIVE!!!!! ALL OF WEEK 7! (Will send more details out week before)
We are officially signed up to have a blood drive during Week 7 of the Fall Quarter (everybody say thank you Tom King the goat)!!!!!!
What this means is that BBSA will have the opportunity to raise money simply by donating blood or platelets. Each quarter, we will set a donation pledge goal, and every donation made on behalf of BBSA will help us earn funds for the year (saving lives + money HOW GOOD IS THAT?!) . Anyone can donate on behalf of Belles, so feel free to encourage anyone you know to participate! Even if we don't fully reach our pledge goal, we will still earn money from all donations made. We will also have a designated donation week each quarter (Week 7) to encourage everyone to participate, but donations made at any point throughout the quarter will still count toward our goal.
As a reminder, donating blood counts as 1 Fundraising credit, so this is a great way to get a credit done if the events on the Fundraising calendar do not work for you.
Fall Fundraising Calendar: FALL26 FUNDRAISING EVENTS - We will compile the dates of our weekly fundraising events and credit opportunities at this link! Feel free to bookmark it and check back occasionally if new events or opportunities spring up. This is a GREAT way to plan your quarter out accordingly and make sure you get your 2 mandatory fundraising credits! We will still post the week’s events on agendas with all of the relevant details, so do not fret.

Hi my lovely and gorgeous Belles!!
If you are a Baby Belle, WELCOME! I am so beyond delighted that you are here and cannot wait to get to know you. I have been looking forward to this day for quite some time and really, truly am excited. If you ever need anything at all, please know that I am around. And if you ever want to bake, please reach out because I’d be thrilled :)
It was a hectic week as I had 3 midterms 3 days in a row, which was a wee bit rough, and ALSO OMG I broke a glass flask in chem lab, which means this is the second week of me breaking things in a row… and my TA looked so sad and told me that she would break things accidentally as an undergrad, and she hates labs and is sad she has to teach one…. I didn’t know quite how to respond, but I feel bad…
Anyways, prepping for Belle’s Beginnings was also a lot, but sooo much fun. Shoutout to my lovely and awesome co-director, Stephanie, and another big shoutout to my amazing DB’s, Reese and Jane. I love the social office! And I hope you enjoyed the event :)
I have another midterm next Wednesday, eek, and am behind on homework, but I’m SO excited for this week, and also my hometown friend is driving up to bake and watch movies with me this Halloween! So hyped.
Belle love forever and always,
Natalia

Workshop with Kimberly Terill is rescheduled:

Kimberly is an Associate Director for Career Education and Development at the Career Center. She has been working in higher education for over 20 years and will be coming to answer questions that may arise during internship season. Please prepare questions in advance as she is excited to give advice, general or specific.
Please sign up, she is so excited to speak to you guys!
Hello hello! What a hectic week it has been. I went home for the weekend and it was beautiful! I baked cookies (it was a fail) and I did an escape room with my family (this was a success) but it was entirely in the dark so #scared. Unfortunately, I could not be persuaded to stomach the pumpkin patch in the San Diego heat but I went to see Sense and Sensability instead which was amazing. All in all it was a great weekend except for the near death experience I suffered trying to get back from the Amtrak station. Did you know there is a men’s county jail a mile from Union Station? I learned the hard way! Anyways, I am so excited for Belles’ Beginnings this weekend and for midterm season to be over!
SIGN UP TO JOIN THE WOMEN’S LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE COMMITTEE!
This year we will be co-programming with Residential Life to host the conference on the Hill so it will take a lot of help and early planning to make sure everything runs smoothly. Sign-ups will be open until November 10th!
