hello darlings :) short update from me this week. midterm purgatory has begun, so i’m writing this on wednesday to give me zero excuse not to lock in over the weekend. tired tired tired, stressed, worried, et cetera. however – i’m always here to answer any questions or if you just want to chat with somebody, no matter what. baby belles, i hope you had/have such a great time at your first CO events. returning belles, thank you for setting a fabulous example, especially if i asked you to be an event leader!

song of the week is “i won’t cry” by remi wolf. i have been listening to her new album over and over and over it is so good…link to song here

xoxo magdalena

Hello, my lovelies!

Happy Week 6! This week was genuinely so unbelievably fun. To start off, my exam results low-key felt like a win which I was not expecting.

But of course, aside from academics, I went out a few times over the weekend and two of my best friends from UCSD came to visit me, which was awesome sauce. My roommates and I continue to dissect every philosophical and romantic aspect of our lives, which is close to zero, but you know what, this keeps life interesting.

Then we got BitteBitez, and the line was less than 5 minutes, which I don’t think has ever happened to me (Last year, it was raining and the line was STILL an hour).

I’m super excited for the Fowler volunteering, especially since Día de Los Muertos is close to my heart (I made a mini ofrenda for Reggie <3 on the 27th).

Some sad news is that Noah Kahan is not returning to SoCal in 2027, so I may need to get creative with my bootlegging/illegal streaming skills.

I hope you all had a very fun and safe Halloweekend and keep crushing it, divas!

And of course, reach out if you need anything!

Much love,

Lexie <3

Lizzy:

HI BELLES! I hope everyone’s halloweekend was splendid!!!! I spent a night at USC, and a couple nights at UCI with some of my close friends. My friend and I got to plan a cute little cozy halloween party, which really made me turn on my inner Martha Stewart. In AMAZING news, WE ARE OUT OF MIDTERM JAILLLL WHICH MEANS LIFE AND HAPPINESS AND BLISS. YAYAYAYAYA. It is November now, which means it’s prep for the coziest time of the year. I have a couple things on my November bucketlist, which include baking cinnamon rolls, watching so many holiday Disney channel movies, going to the snow, and perhaps starting a new 2000s drama (open to recs). I also had the most lit craft night ever (SHOUTOUT EVERYONE WHO CAME!). I can’t wait to host more craft nights with you all.

BABY BELLES! I am ITCHING to meet every single one of you. Please please please reach out for whatever, perhaps coffee (fuel my addiction) or anything at all!! I LOVE U GUYS <3

Belle love,

Lizzy

DUES:

$120 for full-year payment, $40 per quarter for quarterly payments

Please Venmo @BruinBellesServiceAssociation either the full-year or Fall Quarter payment by Monday, November 9, 2026 (Week 7 GM) for returning members.

If you would like to request an Alumni Scholarship to help cover your dues, please fill out the following form: https://forms.gle/tW64hLRRW2qHrbku5. Look out for an email from me with the form linked as well!

FAQ:

Where do I send my dues? -- @BruinBellesServiceAssociation on Venmo. Reminders are in the Agendas every week!

I only have Zelle -- Absolutely no worries, the beautiful Lexie has helped us solve this issue! Please Zelle (424)393-8818 your dues ONLY if you do not have Venmo. This is Lexie’s Zelle, but it will be registered under Alexandra Spencer. If you will be sending your dues to Lexie via Zelle, please leave a note that it is for BBSA and what event it’ll be for (aka “BBSA Dues - [YOUR NAME]”). --> This also applies to using Zelle for fundraising events this year.

I don't have Venmo or Zelle -- That is okay! We can also accept payments in cash or check. Please text or email me (contact info in my signature below) if this is you, and I'm happy to arrange something.

I have extenuating circumstances and/or demonstrated need to help cover my dues. -- The Fundraising Office believes that any Belle should be able to participate in the year regardless of extenuating circumstances, so if this is you, PLEASE fill out the Alumni Scholarship Form, or privately message me, or, if you feel more comfortable, Lizzy, with your situation, and I guarantee we will work something out.

HIHIIII my amazing belles AND baby belles,

Stephanie Orozco

Hi my lovely and gorgeous Belles!!

UPDATE

Belle love forever and always,

Natalia

HI GORGEOUS LOVELY GALS,

Shoutout to all the Baby Belles who went to my walking social last week!! It was so fun, and I loved yapping with you all :) For the Baby Belles I haven’t met yet, I hope to meet you soon! If you ever want a home-cooked meal or just to sit on an apartment couch and yap, text me and I will jump up and down with joy 😚🤩

I hope you had a lovely week! I finished my last midterm (until week 7) and went to a fun concert with Natalie, and then Sofia and Sarina made cookies so it was an awesome week. I love Belles. I also hope your Halloweekend was good! My hometown friend visited, and we had fun debriefing, baking, cooking, and watching movies! WE MADE LEAF SHAPED PASTA AND IM IN LOVE. We also went to Greystone Mansion and they had a pretty flower event. It was nice introducing her to some UCLA friends and showing her my life here.

For those invested in my lab journey: I spilled dsDNA on the floor and ruined one of the samples for a 4-hour experiment, which means I’ll be redoing it (learning process!) ✨ Then, in 14BL my lab partner, who I love and adore, accidentally turned natural gas on instead of the vacuum, and the TA freaked out and sent us to get help, so we were running through the basement halls of the CS maze and collecting real adults. Everything ended up fine, and it was super silly LOL.

I have too many pictures from this week but I hope you enjoy this random selection :)

OK AND ALSO GET HYPED FOR BELLESGIVING HOORAY! See you soon 🥹

Belle love always and forever,

Natalia

Hello hello! I am officially halfway through midterms! Belles’ Beginnings was an absolute blast and I so glad to have met so many Baby Belles. I watched the basketball game this week and I cannot wait for the official season to start. I also saw a very respected chef speak with twin so I can know say I’m food knowledgable. I am eagerly awaiting halloweekend and the chance to hang out with all of my friends. Be safe and have fun!
