Welcome back my loves!! Some updates:

  • Alumni Mentorship Pairings are taking me a little longer than expected. Thank you for your patience with me, I am planning to have them out by Friday at the latest.

  • Board and I are doing our best to be more consistent with sign-up deadlines, so please make sure that you are adhering more strictly to them.

  • Seniors!! Keep an eye out on your emails for information about senior spotlights!

Community Outreach

HAPPY SPRING QUARTER!!! WHO IS EXCITED TO VOLUNTEER?? (*a resounding chorus of me’s*)

NEW POLICY: To make things clearer for the sign-ups assume the following:

  • In the emails you get with your CO event information, I/the DBs will also include the phone numbers of everyone going. It is the driver’s responsibility to then create a gc and coordinate pick up times and location.

  • If there is no driver for an event so you guys are taking public transport or Uber, I will assign a BIC (Belle in Charge) in the email. She will then create a gc where ya’ll can coordinate

  • If the event is on-campus just follow instructions in the email!

If you guys run into any issues with an event plz TEXT ME at 650-850-2656 (I have found it’s much easier to reply fast via phone than slack/email)

REMINDERS

  • When you sign up for an event, sign up on the event’s separate website at the same time.

  • Project Angel Food has shifts every day of the week from 8:00am-12:00pm and 12:45 - 4:00pm. If you’d like me to put a particular date and time on the agenda that works for you just lmk! You can also drop it in the slack.

  • If you are in another club on campus that does volunteering and could use extra volunteers lmk and I will reach out to collaborate!

How to Earn PR Credit! (2 per quarter)

  • Sign up for a “Social Media Correspondent” role in any office. Take & submit 5 photos and 1 video to the shared Google Album.

  • For credit, fill out the Event Attendance Tracker form, choose Public Relations, and put down the name of the event that you uploaded pictures for

  • IMPORTANT! Our UCLA emails have limited access to Google Photos, so when joining our shared Google Photos album, please use your personal email only, not your UCLA email

Secretary

  • Get Credits in SOONER rather than later

  • Please fill out excused absence/recurring absence forms found on agenda AND weekly email

  • Hope everyone had a lovely break:)

Fundraising

  • ShareTea Fundraiser Friday 4/3 (see agenda for details)

  • If you are on the quarterly payment plan, make sure to pay your dues by the end of week 5 (May 1st).

Socials Happening This Week:

  • Wednesday, April 1 from 5:30 pm - 6:15pm: sunset walk with anaïs

    • meet at de neve holly at 5:30 to go on anaïs’ secret walking route!!

    • i’m thinking it will be between 2-3 miles/whatever the belles are feeling!!

  • Friday, April 3 at 2:30: sharetea fundraising x social!

    • meet at the bruin bear at 2:30 and walk over to bond over boba!

I hope break was lit sauce! I am at GM, Look at my beautiful shining face. I hope you know I’m missing out on $23 to be here hashtag worth it. My beautiful DB Mia and I are working on workshop schedule (RIP Sarah- taken by Australia study abroad) and we will send it out ASAP!
